Refund policy

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your online purchase, you may return new unused items in the original packaging with all accessories within 30 days for an exchange or refund to the credit card account charged, less any shipping fees incurred by Charter Tackle Corp.  All merchandise must be returned in the original manufacturer packaging, including tags and identification stickers in order to receive a refund.  Please see Return Merchandise Authorization instructions below to initiate a return.

Wrong Item/Damaged in transit:  Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is damaged in shipping or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  These items can be returned or replaced at no charge, once we receive the original unused item back in its original packaging, tags and identification stickers.  Please retain the original shipping packages which may be reused for returns.  In case of damage, please retain the original shipping packaging until told to discard.  See Return Merchandise Authorization instructions below to initiate a return.

Defective merchandise should be returned directly to the manufacturer under their return & warranty policies.  If you need help, please contact us.  We will assist in any way possible to make that happen.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Instructions:  Prior to returning any merchandise, please contact us at CharterTackle@gmail.com to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping label/instructions.

Clearly print/type your name and address on the outside of the package.  Return packaging must include a copy of the invoice or packing slip and the Return Merchandise Authorization number. Shipping costs incurred will be deducted from the final refund, unless the error was on our end. 

Exceptions & non-returnable items                                             

There are no returns, exchanges or credit available on the following:

  • pre-spooled line
  • special order items
  • final sale items
  • gift cards

Used merchandise is not eligible for exchange or return. This includes items that were sold in used condition, as well as merchandise that was sold new and is now used.

No exchanges or returns on broken merchandise. If the merchandise has a factory warranty, please contact the vendor for information.

In addition, we may not accept orders from customers who have demonstrated a high incidence of returns after purchase.

Holiday Return Period: Orders made from November 21st to December 24th will have an extended return period up to January 31st.
